Trade and Connectivity Challenge 2021

 
Being one of the world’s most connected countries with strong regional networks, Singapore is a strategic trade and connectivity hub. In recent years, Singapore has also transformed into one of the leading innovation hubs.
 
To help companies in Singapore’s trade and connectivity sectors develop solutions that will address on-the-ground operational needs, the Trade and Connectivity Challenge (TCC) is back for its third edition!
 
Organised by Enterprise Singapore (ESG), TCC 2021 aims to drive partnerships in joint innovation, development and use of new solutions in the aviation, maritime, land mobility, logistics and trade sectors.
 
This year, we invite startups to showcase innovative solutions in growth areas such as big data, data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics & automation, improving supply chain management and more. Shortlisted participants will have the opportunity to collaborate, co-develop and pilot solutions with leading global and local corporate partners. The Challenge winner will stand to win the top prize of S$30,000 grant. A total prize pool of S$100,000 of grant prizes is made available for TCC 2021.

  • Application Phase

    Register and submit your proposal!

  • 1st Shortlisting

    6 Jan 2021 - 20 Jan 2022

    Up to three startups from each challenge statement will be shortlisted.

  • Mentor Roundtables

    21 Jan 2022 - 18 Feb 2022

    Selected startups will be matched with mentors to receive feedback and advice.

  • 2nd Shortlisting

    19 Feb 2022 - 25 Feb 2022

    The top startups from each challenge statement will be selected as finalists.

  • Pitch Day

    3 Mar 2022

    Finalists to pitch virtually to the jury panel and the winners will be selected.

Shortlisted participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with our corporate challenge sponsors and co-develop and pilot solutions.

Final Event (Pitch Day)

The Trade & Connectivity Challenge Final will be a hybrid/online event held on 3 March 2022.
 
Finalist participants will have five minutes to pitch their solutions to a panel of industry experts. There will then be a five-minute Q&A session for judges to speak with the startups and gain a more complete understanding of the solutions.
 
Challenge winners will stand to receive great prizes, mentorship from and opportunities to collaborate with established corporate partners.
